Research: Mastheads

I want my masthead to stand out, but I also want this to be the start of a recognizable start of a brand. The following are examples of TV and Film mastheads that I may or may not take inspiration from:

 I don't like the red empire mastheads as it is a dominant colour and will take the reader's attention away from the main feature. However, I do need to find a masthead that is in the middle ground, one that catches the readers eye, but not to much that it diverts the readers eye away from the main feature. In my opinion, the Jade Screen masthead is a bit old fashioned and doesn't look modern enough to be my masthead. I do like the colour of the studio but it is too thin. Perhaps i could take inspiration from the colours and make it thicker.
